Drop In: There will be on site registration at the HCU office beginning Thursday, September 15 and continuing through all regularly posted office hours. Please note that winter programs may fill up quickly so register early!

Drop Off: the Registration Form, enclose a cheque(s) payable to Halifax County United, or fill out the Visa information at the bottom of the form and make sure that any required documentation is included and mail right away to:

Please Note: Registrations forwarded to the registrar via friends, coaches, etc. often do not reach the registrar in a timely manner; and sometimes not at all.

Documentation Required: A photocopy of proof of age (e.g. birth certificate, health card, etc.) must be provided for all new players. This copy will not be returned.

Tier 1/Academy and U12 A/B Supplement: Players trying out for Tier 1 should register as above and include a post dated cheque or credit card information for November 10th for tier fees. For those not selected, their cheques will be returned or destroyed.
Late Registration Charge: Registrations received after October 1st will be subject to a $10.00 late fee. Players wishing to de-register after October 1st and before the start of their program will be subject to a $20.00 fee. Players wishing to deregister after their program start and before December 15th will be entitled to half fee refund. After December 15th no refunds will be given.
Budget Payments and Financial Assistance: HCU wants soccer to be available to everyone. Therefore, all registration fees may be paid in up to three equal instalments. Cheques dated for September 15th, October 15th and December 1st will be welcome, and players will be considered registered as soon as their signed form and payment(s) are received. If you or someone you know cannot register a child due to financial constraints, please leave a message for the registrar at 876-8784. Assistance is available and confidential. Please note that there is no family rate for winter soccer.
Outstanding and Current Fees: Any fees for this winter (and any outstanding fees) must be paid in full prior to participating in tryouts or training for the winter season. Players who show up at tryouts without being registered (all past and current fees paid as well as paperwork filled out) will not be allowed to participate in tryouts or assessments. Parents are advised to check with the club ahead of time if you are unsure of your status.
Important Note on Special Requests: All players will be registered in their own age group. Special requests for placements should be noted on the registration form. The decision to grant such requests will be made by the HCU technical staff.
