REGISTRATION SUMMER 2019 


HCU IS USING A NEW REGISTRATION PLATFORM.  ALL MEMBERS WILL HAVE TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT WHEN REGISTERING. OLD LOGIN CREDENTIALS WILL NOT WORK.



REGISTRATION DEADLINES
 
Registration deadlines ensure proper placement on teams. In order to guarantee placement on a team or in a program, please adhere to the following deadlines

  • Skills Centre & Performance (NSSL) - Registrations MUST be received by April 1st prior to Player Placements
  • Youth Grassroots (U12 - U21 NSSL) - Registrations must be received by April 30th to guarantee placement on a team. 
  • Mini Grassroots - Registrations must be received by May 15th to guarantee friend requests.  Registrations will be accepted past May 15th but there is no guarantee that you will be placed with your requested friend.

IMPORTANT - Friend requests are only accepted for Mini-Grassroots Program. 

 

NEW THIS YEAR

ALL NSSL PLAYERS:

  • Anyone registering for an NSSL team can pre-order the required County game shorts and game socks at time of registration.  Prices and sizes are on the registration form.  Gear will be distributed to team managers.  NOTE:  Pre-order option is only available for registrations submitted by April 15th.

YOUTH GRASSROOTS:

  • The previous U17 Grassroots has been expanded to include U18 age players.  This summer players born in 2001, 2002, 2003 can register for U18 A or B Grassroots.
  • Youth Grassroots now includes U15A and U18A

SKILLS CENTRE:

  • This year U13A is defined as Skills Centre.  U13A still competes in the U13A division of NSSL

PERFORMANCE:

  • Performance teams include U13AA, U15AA/AAA and U17AAA
  • When registering, please select the team level you are seeking placement on.

 
FAMILY DISCOUNT:

Any family registering three or more children in Mini-Grassroots programs or NSSL programs are eligible to receive a 10% discount.  Please email the names and DOB of your children to registrar@hcusoccer.ca in order to receive your dicount code

 

REFUND & PAYMENT POLICIES:

Every member is asked to review the Refund Policy and Payment Policy prior to registering. All policies can be found under Our Club / Policies.  Our refund and payment policy will be stricly enforced.


IN-PERSON, MAIL-IN OR DROP-OFF REGISTRATION:
 
In-Person Registration:   Anyone wishing to register in person can do so at the HCU Office during the club’s posted office hours. Evening hours have been added for in-person registration.
 
Mail-in or Drop-off:  To mail-in or drop-off your registration form, please complete a paper registration form, enclose a cheque(s) or fill out your credit card information, and mail it to the address below.  Cheques are made payable to "Halifax County United Soccer"

New players to HCU must include a copy of their birth certificate or health card with your registration as proof of age.
