HCU is thrilled to announce Lewis Page as our new Men's Premiership Head Coach and Boys Performance Director.
Lewis will be joining us at HCU at a part time capacity starting this week until late August, leading our Boys Performance side, but also lending his extensive expertise to HCU coaches and staff across all programs.
Lewis holds his A license and is widely considered a top Coach in Atlantic Canada, he currently Coach's both UPEI Men's and Women's groups. Going on year 24 with the men's program and a total of 7 years with the Women's program.
Lewis spent 11 years with Canada Soccer as a staff Coach with several national team Head Coach and Assistant Coach roles, below are a few:
- U19 Women's Assistant, U17 Women's Assistant (two world cups - 2008,2010), Assisted John Herdman in 2011 Women's National team to a Pan Am Games GOLD MEDAL, Head Coach of U15 National team, and Assistant across several other events and competitions.
Lewis grew up in Chester, Nova Scotia. Played 5 years at SMU, where they were 2 time AUS Champions, and Lewis was a 3 time All- Canadian, and League MVP.
He joined K.O.D in 1984 as a 16 year old, playing through until 1995. In 1991, he was a member of the NS Clippers in the first and only season of the CSL.

I have been "fan boying" of the potential of Lewis joining us for a few weeks. Don't tell Lewis, I was trying to play it cool. Lewis is not only one of the top Coaches I have seen in action, he is an incredible role model for our players and a excellent Coach Educator.
Our mission here is provide exceptional player experiences across all seven of our programs from our Micro and Mini Community programs to Skills Centre to Youth Community and into our Pre-Performance and Men's and Women's Premiership groups. Lewis' skills will help HCU take our next big jump.
