  • Jamie rejoined HCU as the Executive Director in 2023 after serving as the clubs Academy Director from 2010-2014.

    From 2014 to 2023 Jamie held progressive roles in Sport Management with the Halifax Mooseheads, Sports & Entertainment Atlantic, and the Halifax Wanderers.

    Jamie has also held progressive Coaching roles over a 21 year period, he has his National B License, is currently the Head Coach of perennial ACAA contenders, the University of King’s College men’s soccer program, and Coaches HCU’s top men’s team - HCU Premier Men.

    Jamie is from Norton New Brunswick, he played his University career at Saint Mary’s University from 2004-2009 where they won three AUS title during his time there.

    As the club’s Executive Director, Jamie is responsible for the overall quality and health of the organization.

  • Nicole has over 15 years of experience in both technical and administrative roles within the soccer community working in Technical Director / Club Manager roles within Nova Scotia. Nicole has contributed to the growth of the sport through various positions, working closely with athletes, families, teams, leagues and organizations. Nicole has a strong background in organizational management and communication.

    Her diverse background allows her to manage operations with a unique perspective, blending strategic planning with a deep understanding of the game's technical plan. She is committed to fostering the development of our club and soccer programs at all levels and creating a positive experience for our members. 

  • Graham is a Halifax native with a long list of coaching and playing experience in the region. As a player, Graham grew up playing with Halifax City and was a member of the Provincial Program. After which, Graham played five years with the University of New Brunswick’s Reds and also won a Senior Men’s National Championship with Churchill Arms FC (now PEI FC) in 2010. 

    Graham joined HCU in the fall of 2024 after over seven years at Suburban FC holding progressive roles as Technical Director and Director of Player development. Graham has completed the National B coaching course.

    Graham holds the title of Director of Soccer, where he spearheads the organization and quality of the soccer side of the organization.

  • Shinji has been part of Halifax County United (HCU) since January 2019, starting as a part-time coach while completing his university studies. With 21 years of experience as a player and coach, he brings a deep passion for player development.

    A University of King’s College graduate, Shinji earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics while competing for the university’s soccer team for five seasons.

    As Director of Grassroots, Shinji oversees both the Mini Program and Skill Centre Program, focusing on developing young players through a structured, engaging, and player-centered approach. He holds a Canada Soccer C-License and has completed all Community Coaching Courses, using his experience to create a strong foundation for HCU’s grassroots programs.
