CLUB HISTORY

Halifax County United Soccer Club was formed in 1998 when three clubs, Brookside Tigers, Timberlea Titans and St. Margaret’s Bay Saints, united.  This fact has never been far from the club’s heart with all three of the founding club’s insignia found prominently in our crest today.  Our colors are gold and black, and we affectionately refer to ourselves as both County and HCU.

Today, HCU is one of the largest clubs in the Halifax Regional Municipality, with over 2,100 players in the winter and summer from Under 4 to senior.  Our region includes the western part of HRM from Brookside to Hubbards and Peggy's Cove to Hammonds Plains.

HCU is focused on providing quality programs for players of all ages and levels of ability and interest.  Our goal is to ensure all players have fun, foster a love for the game and develop individually and as a team both on and off the field.
