Our U12-U18 Competitive stream includes the following teams: 12A/AA, 13A/AA, 15A/AA, and 18AA/A. HCU is a leader in this space, and for the 2024/2025 season, our goal is to have a compensated Head Coach for each team, working toward their C License, along with a trained Team Manager. These teams practice twice a week, with one game per week. AA teams will have two turf sessions, while A teams will have one turf session and one gym session per week. U12AA and U13AA teams will also have an additional weekly Strength and Conditioning session in November and December at the Canada Games Centre. There will also be opportunity for select "A" players to participate in the AA/AAA Strength and conditioning sessions.

The program emphasizes individual and team development, preparing players for increased commitment and higher levels of competition. Sessions focus on the 5 Development Pillars: Technical, Physical, Mental, Tactical, and Social-Emotional, all within a team setting.
HCU teams will compete in the Nova Scotia Soccer League (NSSL).

*There will be an additional Team Formation fee of $30 per player.
All players will be required to attend the team formation sessions for placement in one of our competitive programs.
*If you are new to the program, you are required to purchase the HCU Gear (Game Jersey, Training Top, Shorts, Socks) which is an additional fee. Please ensure you request your sizes at registration to assist us with our ordering process.
*All gym sessions will require futsal shoes or indoor sneakers. Outdoor cleats are not permitted in the gym.
